As I mentioned previously elsewhere, I’ve been low carbing for around 14 months now. Other than a brief one-off high-carb evening, I’ve been low-carb all of the way. No grains, sugars, starches, or anything of the kind. Just fat and protein, more-or-less.

Due to “reasons”, I’ve decided to spend a 3-day weekend going high-carb. I must admit, I was really looking forward to it. So, off I went to Sainsbury’s and spunked £70 on the highest-carb crap I could find. Sweets, chocolate bars, a toffee sundae, sandwiches, sushi, and so on. I kept away from the fizzy drinks simply because the idea of sugary water sloshing around my teeth made me cringe. Everything else was fair game.
