Release: Wake On LAN Ex 2

Another day, another release.
This is a rewrite of the original Wake On LAN Ex I did quite a while back. What’s new in version 2? It’s been rewritten in .NET (bang goes the instant loading, damn!) and is more complete. The biggest feature is the pinging of entries in the address book and notification of when they change status (eg. going offline).

Hi, thank you for the good freeware apps!
I am using “Wake On Lan Ex 2″ and I wonder, if I can take a copy on my USB pendrive with me. As far as I can see is there not a options file in the “WOL Ex 2″ program folder…

Hi Chris,
WoLEX stores its settings within the application profile directory in Windows, but I can add an option that’ll allow you to run it in a “portable” mode for the next version. Keep an eye on the main page for when it has been released (should be within the next few days).
